The Studio

Studiokamp works remotely with international collaborators and clients since 2007. The current physical studio is a calibrated Dolby Atmos sound studio in Berlin, owned and run by David Kamp. It was designed by Kost architects with acoustic planning by Karlheinz Steigmeier and consulting by Dolby and Genelec. The mix room features a Genelec 7.1.4 Atmos loudspeaker setup for stereo, 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos/Ambisonics 3D-Audio mixing. For music and foley recording a collection of Neumann, Sennheiser, and Schoeps microphones are used, with Grace Preamps and high-end RME AD/DA conversion.

Sustainability

From the outset, the studio has been powered exclusively by renewable energy to reduce our carbon footprint, while minimizing work-related air travel wherever possible.
