Sound Identity Toolkit

I developed a sound identity toolkit for the German NGO Sea-Watch e.V. soon to be used across all of the organizations’ media content.

Sea-Watch is a non-profit organization that conducts civil search and rescue operations in the Central Med. In the presence of the humanitarian crisis, Sea-Watch provides emergency relief capacities, demands and pushes for rescue operations by the European institutions and stands up publicly for legal escape routes and the removal of the root causes of migration and flight.

Sound approach

I designed a sound identity toolkit that can be reused in various ways in different media, starting with intro and outro sounds synced to existing logo animations. All sound elements are combinations and variants of a music mnemonic and my field recordings of Mediterranean sea waves, recorded at the shore.
