Cat Days / ねこ の ひ
The film’s surreal dream sequences required creative sound design. I combined subtle foley elements with Satoko Shibata’s amazing music vignettes and combined and processed them in unexpected ways in the film’s surreal dream sequences, especially in the 5.1 mix of the film.
Cat Days premiered at Berlinale 2018, qualified for the Academy Awards and was nominated for a LOLA (german short film award) during its successful festival run. The full length film will be online soon.
